President's Day acknowledgement

It is Monday; President's Day 2010! What are we celebrating? The birthday of two previous presidents of the USA; Lincoln & Washington. Two great leaders, two great men. Each came from differing backgrounds -- one from the sticks, and one from a well-off plantation owner. One became a military leader, one became a prestigious laywer. One had an almost cult following, the other eith loved or despised, not anywhere in the middle. Two very distinct individuals. And yet, they have one thing in common -- the Presidency of the states of North America as they knew it in those days.

Let us all tip our hats (if we are wearing any) to these good men; they proposed one thing we should ALL stand under; that all men are created equal. Nowhere does it say, "Only men who are blue-eyed, or write with only their right hand, and have all the aspects and traits of someone who thinks and acts just like everybody else." Nowhere does it say, "Only those who can see, hear, not have any seizures, etc."
